The Moonlight Jazz evening is a mandatory
event for all music students from Grades 9 - 11. Funds raised at this event will
directly subsidize the 2011 annual tour, tentatively planned for a major music
festival in Chicago.
All students are required to actively
participate in the preparation for the event by contributing in at least
one of three ways:
-
Ticket sales to friends and
family who are interested in supporting HCA Music and who love
silent auctions. Tickets are on sale now at the school office
for $35/ticket. $40/ticket for sweetheart tables.
-
Soliciting donated
items/services for the Silent Auction (over $100 value) or
Surprise Gifts (under $100). We are seeking high value items in
a sweetheart theme. See
www.hcamusic.com/moonlight for ideal auction donations.
access a donation letter to accompany requests. Approach
friends, family, contractors, service providers such as massage
therapists or spas. Donated items must be submitted to the
school no later than February 8, 2010.
-
Contributing freshly washed
and prepared fruit (i.e. package of grapes washed and cut into
three/four grape clusters or a melon sliced for serving)
or ingredients for punch (ginger ale + frozen fruit
juice) or 1 pound of premium ground coffee.
